There are many ways that you can help provide therapy for the people that Stajduhar Stables serves. Facility maintenance and care for the horses requires a great deal of time and financial support. Below are several lists of items that are needed to help maintain the barn and horses.

The horse is the main catalyst of change for the people who receive therapy at Stajduhar Stables; in a sense…they are the therapists. Our horses have to be able to accommodate riders of all sizes and needs. The need to be of a good temperament with good ground manners, and they need to be tolerant of other horses. It is of utmost importance that the horse is sound at gaits above the walk. Therapy horses come from a variety of backgrounds such as showing, ranch horses, racing, former police horses, and various other disciplines. They must be sound and able to tolerate the ramp and various other tools we use for therapy sessions. All the horses at Stajduhar Stables receive the highest quality healthcare. Adopt a Horse

Our horses have a wide variety of needs from feed to vet and farrier bills. If you are interested in helping provide for the horses, you can get involved in the “adopt a horse” program. Once a horse is adopted, a plaque will be placed on the stall front stating the adopter’s name. Please contact us for more information on the benefits and options of adopting a horse.
